Yesterday I went to the dentist, and while I sitting there letting the pretty young hygienist work my mouth ("Dear Penthouse..."), this song came on the radio (if you don't want to click the link, it's "Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night" by the Black Eyes Peas). I hate that song, so listening to it in the dentist's chair just seemed a kind of amusingly torturous scenario.

But later, when recounting that to my Hunter group (see below for the ghosty write-up), someone mentioned this song as another torture song, and that one I rather like. And if you know me, you know I enjoy me some Beyonce, too (I'll crank up "Single Ladies", I admit it). I joke sometimes that I have the music taste of a 12-year-old girl.

But then Lori told me (reminded me, really) about the theme song for her Edge of Midnight character (this song, and that's pretty damned awesome, in a sexier, smoother, jazzier kind of way.

I just like music, really, and with a few exceptions (like this - which someone did at karaoke last time I went FUCK ME), I'll pretty much rock out to whatever's handy. Eric B. and Rakin, K'naan, Beyonce, Billy Joel, Metallica, Scorpions, TMG, whatever. There's not a lot in my "suck" file.

Anyway, I just mention that because I somehow heard about a recent South Park episode - involving gay fish, and so now I'm just trying to wash that faux-Kanye song out of my head.
